Aidmates does not provide care services and does not employ or supervise caregivers.

Companion & Presence Support (Non-Medical)

Gentle support for daily life. Perfect for children, adults, and seniors who need company, structure, or an extra helping hand.

Caregivers choose the services they offer based on their own skills and certifications. AidMates is a marketplace and does not provide licensed home care services.

Baby/Adult Sitter Support (Non-Medical)

Companion Care also includes: Sitter support provides short-term presence and supervision while a family member steps away. This support is non-medical and non-hands-on.

AidMates does not replace existing care arrangements, coordinate care plans, or assume responsibility for ongoing support.

What services are NOT allowed?

AidMates does not facilitate or permit:

  • medical or clinical services

  • personal care (bathing, toileting, feeding, grooming)

  • medication administration

  • physical assistance or transfers

  • transportation or errands performed on someone’s behalf

Support on AidMates is limited to non-medical presence and engagement.

How do families and caregivers decide what’s included?

Families and caregivers communicate directly to discuss expectations, boundaries, and schedules. AidMates does not assign tasks, recommend caregivers, or manage scope of support.

Do caregivers set their own prices?

Yes. Caregivers independently set their own rates and availability. AidMates does not control or influence pricing.

Does AidMates provide companion care for specific conditions or diagnoses?

No. AidMates does not categorize or provide support based on medical conditions, diagnoses, or special needs. Families choose caregivers based on profiles and direct communication.

Is AidMates a home care agency?

No. AidMates is a marketplace platform and does not employ, supervise, or manage caregivers.
